 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career as a child shortly after moving to the United States. In AT&T television commercials, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties in her family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out after her sophomore year. She later obtained the GED, and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
