Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott
(born June 16, 1987) is an American actress and comedian who was a part of the
cast on Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012, and then been a part of the
Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of
actor and comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the second of two children and
was born in New York City. She is the daughter Paula Niedert, a talent
coordinator, and Chris Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her grandfather was Bob
Elliott (radio comedian). Her younger sister is actress Bridey Elliott. They
were both born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended high school at Immaculate
High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she was a part of school plays and
musicals. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005, she attended
Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but dropped out during her first
semester .In the year 2010, Elliott was a friend of her fellow Saturday Night
Live cast member Fred Armisen. Their relationship ended in September of 2011.
Elliott was married to Bill Kennedy, a TV writer on September 3rd in 2016.
Edith Pepper Kennedy is their daughter. Elliott went to comedy classes at The
Groundlings and eventually began learning and performing in several sketch
comedy shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
