Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22, 1975) is an American actor. She has been awarded numerous prizes such as an Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as an Golden Globe. There have aalso been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family of actors and the daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was a child actor and gained fame with her role as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood plagued by drugs and alcohol abuse, she published her autobiography Little Girl Lost. She was later in a number of successful films in the 1990s, including Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
